Refer a Mainlander & Share The Adventure
Because those who know Tasmania best should experience her most remote corners
At On Board, we’re proudly Tasmanian — shaped by the island we call home: its people, its produce, and its wild, storied places. From our all-local crew to the ingredients on your plate and the artists whose work adorns Odalisque III, every journey is purposefully crafted in the spirit of Tasmania.
Know a mainlander who’d love a journey into Port Davey or along the East Coast? Refer them our way. When they book and complete a qualifying On Board expedition, you’ll receive a complimentary return seaplane experience to our heartland, Port Davey (valued at $750).
It’s a chance to share Tasmania’s remote magic — and discover, or rediscover, the wonder for yourself.
What You'll Receive
Experience the magic of Tasmania’s wild southwest on a return scenic seaplane flight to Port Davey - valued at $750
Fly into the heart of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area — a remote harbour otherwise accessible only by sea or a challenging seven-day hike along the legendary South Coast Track.
Aboard Tasmania’s only seaplane, soak in breathtaking aerial views of jagged peaks, ancient rainforests, and the untouched coastline of Southwest National Park. Land and take off from the tannin-stained waters of Bathurst Harbour — a thrilling wilderness water landing in one of the most remote corners of the southern hemisphere.
The experience lasts approximately two hours, including this unforgettable touch-down deep in the southwest. Weather permitting, your return flight will soar past the dramatic spire of Federation Peak and follow the coastline via Southwest Cape and Bruny Island, before landing on the Hobart waterfront or at our Cambridge hangar base (depending on seaplane operations on the day).
