On Board's expedition vessel, which accommodates up to 12 guests, is the perfect platform for group holidays. With bespoke itineraries and two tenders, we can tailor the experience to every group member's abilities and interests. After a day of exploring, sink into a soft lounge to soak up the view over a glass of award-winning Tasmanian pinot, before enjoying a shared dinner of fine local fare and conversation with old friends late into the evening.
All-inclusive group packages mean that you won't have to lift a finger. All food and wine are included, as well as daily tender and shore excursions, accommodation on boutique-cruiser Odalisque, and transfers from your Hobart accommodation to the departure point.

1. Raptor Refuge Excursion
This special wildlife experience includes a walking tour, meet and greet with a masked owl and private viewing time with the wedge-tailed eagles
Tasmania's Raptor Refuge rescues injured birds of prey and rehabilitates them for release back into the wild. The refuge, which plays a critical role in protecting endangered species such as wedge-tailed eagles, hosts huge flight aviaries in a native bushland setting as well as an education centre and treatment clinic.
Highlights of this exclusive encounter include:
- Guided private tour of the grounds to meet some of the impressive resident raptors (whose injuries mean they can't be released). Along the way, find out how fast peregrine falcons can fly, see a rare grey goshawk, watch the silent flight of masked owls, and then get up close to Australia's largest raptor, the majestic Tasmanian wedge-tailed eagle.
- Meet and greet with a Tasmanian masked owl.
- Private eagle viewing time at the largest flight aviaries in Australia. Sit back, relax and observe the wedge-tailed eagles over a cheese platter & hot mug of coffee.
On Board supports the important work the Raptor Refuge has been doing to protect threatened populations of raptors in Tasmania through an ongoing partnership, which includes this private tour, unique to On Board's guests.
